I'm part of a team that brings students to Mumbai to do pollution studies. A member of the US consulate recommended this hotel - and though we were skeptical at first the warmth and attentiveness of the staff and the hole in the wall gems in the neighborhood quickly won us over. The quality of the in house restaurant (great breakfast and more!) ties a bow around it. Combined with being nearly walking distance from the airport, we would now never think of staying anywhere else. No, the rooms are comfortable rather than opulent, and occasionally one of the showers makes you resort to a bucket bath; but if you came to Mumbai just to sit in your hotel room you will find no sympathy here. At Le Grande you have what you need with a warm and caring staff in a neighborhood that yields up treasures once you accept it as a mom-and-pop type of hood.

Excellent hotel. Family like atmosphere. We spend 3wks in Mumbai conducting research every year and we always choose this hotel. They even threw a party for me and my students on New Year. Great place and staff

I am regular customer of this hotel since last 10 years because homely atmosphere excellent foods and staffs of this hotels are too familiar. Especially Mr. Pillai and his entire team members behaviour are awesome.

One of the best hotels in town. I was there for 11 days, such a great staff and super accommodative. Food is great too. The best hotel and super close to the airport, and it’s super safe around there. Alok is one of the best employees there.

Very popular hotel in frequently visiting tourist and corporate clientele rooms are clean and lavishly furnished. Room service staffs as well as house keeping staffs are well trained cooperative. Foods are mouth watering served in descent way. Banquet restaurant conference are enough spacious to accomdate 50 to 400 personal.
